GREETINGS, FRIENDS OF COMMUNITY ACTION
George A. Anderson
Aiken/Barnwell Counties Community Action Agency, Inc. (ABCCAA) has much to be proud of. The agency will continue the pursue its mission to collaborate with community partners by empowering families in the counties we serve, to achieve self-sufficiency through education, employment and advocacy. We are grateful to all of our funding sources and contributors who support our vision to make our work successes possible.
As community action changes with the implementation of new performance standards, reduced funding, and other programmatic changes, ABCCAA will utilize its strategic planning process to enhance the type and quality of services that we provide to our customers. We are dedicated to maximizing resources and coordinating efforts with community partners to embrace people by equipping them with the tools they need to change their lives.
As our economy continues to improve, we recognize there are significant challenges still facing many of the families we serve. Additionally, as local, state and Federal funding decreases, ABCCAA accepts the challenge to continue the “War on Poverty” by seeking additional opportunities to deliver customer-focused services that have a greater impact on the families and communities served.
I thank you for your continued support!

As a Community Action Agency, it is important to us that we not only serve the community, but also stay connected with it in any way possible. As a result, we are always seeking support from similar-driven organizations that are interested in providing ABCCAA with a letter voicing their support of the Agency.

As a Community Action Agency, our services are intended to provide multiple program assistance and out-reach services to improve the lives of residents within our service areas. We are always seeking volunteers from individuals across the communities to provide assistance as we continue our efforts to change peoples' lives.

All In-kind and/or cash donations will help our community continue to step up the fight against poverty. Financial contributions are needed for operations and as a match for our grant support. We greatly appreciate any contribution towards our Agency's efforts to assist individuals and families in becoming self-sufficient.
